Jam Shed Serves

JAM SHED RED

JAMGRIA

Ingredients (SERVES 4)
  • 500mL Jam Shed Shiraz
  • 50mL Almond liqueur (Disaronno)
  • 50mL Brandy or cognac
  • 300mL Orangeade (e.g. Fanta or alternative)
  • 1 Fresh Orange
  • 5 Strawberries
  • 1 Peach
  • 1 Green Apple

  • Mix the sliced fresh fruit with all ingredients (except the orangeade) and gently press the fruits to release their flavours. Add ice until the jug looks 2/3s full; while adding the orangeade continue to gently mix to incorporate all the ingredients together.

    Glassware: 250ml jam jar
    Garnish: Orange slice

    MULLED WINE

    Ingredients (SERVES 4)
  • 750mL Jam Shed Shiraz
  • 50g Light brown Sugar
  • 2 Oranges
  • 1 Thumb Ginger
  • 4 Cloves
  • 2 Cinnamon Sticks
  • 2 Star Anise

  • Pour wine into a saucepan then pare zest from the orange and thinly slice the ginger. Stir orange zest, ginger, spices and sugar into the wine. Cook over a moderate heat until simmering, about 10 minutes; add more sugar to taste as needed. Remove from the heat, cover and leave to stand for 10-15 minutes then reheat gently before ladling into mugs.
